David is working as a referring Real Estate Broker-Associate for Main Street Realtors. He assists his clients in locating agents for assistance in real estate transactions both in and out of Santa Cruz County.
Education: He graduated from Santa Clara University in 1977 with an undergraduate degree in Finance and from Golden Gate University in 1981 with an MBA in Real Estate.
Professional Licenses: He has held a Real Estate Broker's License in CA since January of 1979 and also holds Certified General Appraisal Licenses in both California and Oregon.
Affiliations: David holds the PMM (Property Management Master) designation in the California Association of Realtors. He holds the GAA and RAA designations (General Accredited Appraiser and Residential Accredited Appraiser) in the National Association of Realtors Appraisal Section. He holds the ASA, IFA, and IFAS designations in the American Society of Appraisers.
Real Estate Brokerage & Property Management: He has been involved in Real Estate Brokerage since 1979. He owned his own Real Estate/Property Management/Appraisal business in Capitola from 1987-2017. His prior experience includes residential and commercial real estate sales, leasing, & property management. He has been involved as either a listing or selling broker in over 375 transactions and has personally handled over 1,000 leases. He has handled real estate sales transactions in Santa Cruz, Monterey, Santa Clara, and San Benito Counties. He has assisted as the real estate broker in the successful completion of numerous IRS Section 1031 tax deferred exchanges for many of his investor clients. He also handled the liquidation of over 50 REO (Lender Owned)
properties over about a 5-year period (2009 – 2014). During the course of that assignment, he supervised extensive repairs as they were prepared for resale.
Other Information: David now resides in Medford, Oregon. He has completed or supervised over 10,000 appraisal reports over his 43+ year career. Currently, he is providing real estate appraisal services for Jackson and Josephine Counties in Oregon. He is also completing appraisal reports in California for updates of prior files, desktop valuations, and assignments that he works on with other colleagues. He has completed narrative appraisal reports in the State of California in the counties of Alameda, Contra Costa, Lake, Madera, Mendocino, Monterey, Napa, San Benito, San Bernardino, San Francisco, San Joaquin, San Mateo, Santa Barbara, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, and Sonoma Counties.
